About Zoe Kilbride
Capel Manor trained garden designer
Zoe Kilbride is a garden designer creating thoughtful, natural gardens for clients across Essex, Hertfordshire and surrounding villages.
After a successful career in the fashion industry, Zoe made the decision to retrain in garden and planting design at Capel Manor College, one of the UK’s leading horticultural colleges.
During her training she developed a strong foundation in planting design and garden composition, and her work was recognised with an award for design excellence.
Garden design allows Zoe to combine creativity, nature and wellbeing, creating outdoor spaces that feel calm, balanced and deeply connected to their surroundings.
A personal approach
Zoe offers a bespoke, personal and collaborative service, working closely with each client to create planting schemes and garden designs that reflect their lifestyle, aspirations and the character of the space. Every design responds not only to the practical needs of the site, but also to the wider landscape, creating gardens that feel harmonious and natural within their setting.

Designing gardens around you
Every garden begins with understanding how the space will be used and experienced. Some clients are looking for a calm retreat, others want a garden for entertaining, family life or simply somewhere to enjoy nature. Zoe takes time to understand how you would like your garden to feel and function, shaping the design around both the character of the site and the people who will use it every day.

Gardens and wellbeing
Zoe believes gardens have the power to transform not just spaces, but wellbeing too. Spending time outdoors, connecting with nature and engaging with plants can bring a sense of calm and restoration. Whether large or small, every garden has the potential to become a personal sanctuary.
