We’ll walk around your garden together and talk through what you’d like to change. I’ll suggest practical ideas for layout, planting and materials, with your priorities and budget in mind. Afterwards, I’ll send you a short written report with my recommendations and next steps you can take at your own pace.

I’ll ask you to email photographs of your garden a week or two before our visit, along with any questions or ideas you’d like to discuss. This helps me prepare so we can make the most of our time together.

Perhaps you enjoy your garden but feel something isn’t quite working, have a particular area you’d like to improve, or want a second opinion before making changes.
It can also help you explore the possibilities for a larger project before deciding whether to commission a full design.

What happens afterwards?
Following our visit, I’ll send you a short written report summarising the ideas, recommendations and practical next steps we’ve discussed. You’ll have something to refer back to as you make changes at your own pace.

If you decide you’d like more support, we can discuss a full Garden Design or Planting Design service. There’s no obligation to take things further.

If you go on to commission a full Garden Design, your £280 consultation fee will be deducted from the design fee.
